Auto Detailing in Lafayette | Lexus RX 350 F Sport | Before and After

Vehicle: 2021 Lexus RX 350 F Sport
Service: 8-Hour Deep Interior Detailing & Complimentary Exterior Wash
Key Challenge: Safely extracting heavy dust, trapped oils, and deep carpet debris from luxury materials without relying on harsh chemicals or cheap, greasy dressings.
Technique/Products: Leather conditioning with Lexol to restore a natural matte texture, 303 Aerospace Protectant for dry-to-the-touch UV protection on plastics, and intensive compressed air and steam cleaning for a complete cabin reset.
I recently had this 2021 Lexus RX 350 F Sport in the Lafayette shop for a dedicated interior auto detailing. It is a great vehicle, but daily driving around Boulder County eventually takes a toll on any cabin. The interior had standard dust buildup, cups holders were full of gunk, and carpet was full of debris not to mention the leather seats.
With 40 years in the detailing business, I skip the harsh, toxic chemical cleaners and heavy, greasy dressings. The goal is always to safely restore the exact factory look and feel.
Ok, First here are a few before shots:

Leather Conditioning: I used Lexol to safely break down the trapped dirt and oils on the F Sport seats. This strips away that cheap, shiny look and reconditions the hide back to its natural, soft matte texture.
Dash and Plastics: Lexus uses soft-touch materials on their dashboards that are easily ruined by standard, high-gloss auto store products. I used 303 Aerospace Protectant on the dash and door panels. I apply and buff it in a single step with a new 350+ GSM microfiber towel. It leaves a dry-to-the-touch, flawless matte finish with proper UV protection, completely eliminating any greasy windshield glare.
Deep Cleaning: Every vent, seam, cup holder, and crevice was cleared out, and the carpets were thoroughly cleaned to reset the foundation of the cabin. The carpet are particularly hard to clean these Lexus's. They are a high quality carpet, that unfortunately acts as a high quality dirt magnet. I spent literally hours vacuuming this car with compress air and steam just to get it ready for shampoo!
Ok, now here are the after shots!

What started as a 5-hour interior detail turned into an 8-hour job. Why? Because I do whatever it takes to do it right. Simple as that.
You’ll also notice the exterior looks completely refreshed in the after photos. Even on an interior-only ticket here in Lafayette, I always throw in a complimentary exterior wash. You're in and out of a vehicle dozens of times during a job like this—you can't have outside grit transferring right back onto fresh leather and carpets.
