Lexus NX 300h Bumper-to-Bumper Detail: A Master Technician Transformation

Why Proper Detailing Technique Matters
A great detailer leaves no trace of themselves—no greasy dashboards, no artificial masking scents, and no sticky chemical residues. Here are a couple of key areas tackled on this Lexus:
1. Stopping the "Brown Tire" Problem
Many amateur detailers and quick-lube washes simply spray silicone dressing directly over dirty rubber. The moment that dressing wears off, you're left with ugly, oxidized brown tires (antiozonant blooming).
On this Lexus, the tires were thoroughly scrubbed and decontaminated down to clean rubber before applying a fresh, satin protective dressing that actually lasts.
2. Advanced Exterior Protection: Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant
Instead of using standard, short-lived carnauba waxes, this Lexus received a full decontamination and a coat of Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant. This blows conventional waxes completely out of the water, delivering:
2–3x the gloss and slickness of traditional wax
Extreme hydrophobic water-beading
Superior resistance against Colorado road grime, UV rays, and winter fallout
3. Deep Interior Sanitation
Using high-temperature steam and compressed air, every cup holder, console seam, air vent, and crevice was completely decontaminated. Carpets and floor mats were hot-water extracted, leather seating was conditioned with Lexol®, and interior trim was protected with an OEM matte-finish UV shield (303 Aerospace Protectant).
